Grown in Chanchamayo along the Peruvian Andes, the term “Minca” refers to the social bond shared amongst local farmers. After harvest season, farmers take turns gathering at their neighbor’s farms to assist and make sure everyones needs are being met. Minca is a way of caring for their community as a whole.
